Sommelier of old books, coming soon



I like how the chemists describe the smell of the books. (I'd say many of my old books def have an oak-y finish and pair nicely with a cup of Irish Breakfast--sweetened, splash of milk.)

I wonder if there will be a day when our old paper books (so soft, beautiful, aromatic, etc.) are no more. True, it would make it easier to take our beloved books with us, but, for those of us who really bond with (i.e. smell, touch, nuzzle, etc.) our books, the reading experience will be slightly impoverished.

Then again, maybe we book-nuzzlers should think about getting out more.
